However, all those indulgent meals and poolside cocktails can sometimes lead to feeling like you need a holiday after your holiday. The good news is feeling healthy throughout your vacay is totally possible. We caught up with some of our favourite instructors from XYZ to pick their brains on how they stay in shape while travelling. Read on to learn how a few smart choices will ensure you get the best from your holiday and leave you looking forward to the next one!

RACHEL MOON

Best holiday ever?
It wasn’t a holiday but a dance contract. This was from my time working as a dancer on a cruise ship. The beauty was waking up to a new place every day.

Favourite travel destination?
Somewhere I haven’t been before. There is so much of the world to see.

Where to next?
If I’m dreaming, I would say an incredible African safari. If I’m being pragmatic, it will be England for my cousin’s wedding.

Top tip for keeping fit whilst travelling?
Get your workout done in the morning and make the most of your surroundings. If you’re near a beach, run on the beach or go for a swim. If you’re in the mountains find the best view spot and throw down some burpees and mountain climbers!

Favourite music to work out to?
Anything with a good beat. I don’t normally listen to Hip Hop but in the gym I like to get sweaty to it.

What's on your travel playlist?
It’s funny when I’m travelling I often don’t listen to music. I prefer to just absorb the sounds of my new surroundings.

You’re on a beach. Coconut water or cocktail?
Coconut water.

City-break, beach or action-packed holiday?
Action-packed.

Favourite travel companion?
My hubby and a good book.

Diet: Try everything once but stick to what's good for you.
