Running of the Bulls

The Running of the Bulls is an eight-day event in July where thrill-seekers take to the streets dressed head-to-toe in white – with a token red bandana. A rocket signals that the bulls have been released and the next four minutes involve a sea of people being chased throughout the city’s cobblestone streets by thundering bulls heading towards the bullring.

Every evening the celebrations continue on the streets, with firework displays, dancing, music and partying till the early hours. You can also join the festivities as a part of a guided tour that includes exploring the city, organised parties and authentic dining experiences.

History in the city

Join a guided tour and wander along the stone-paved streets of the city centre, visiting culturally significant attractions including the Gothic Pamplona Cathedral with its stunning Neo-classical facade. The compact size of the inner-city makes exploring a breeze, with the scenic La Taconera Park and Pamplona City Hall all within easy walking distance of one another.

A must-see attraction in Pamplona is the pentagon-shaped Citadel - a superb example of a Renaissance fortification, which today is an expansive park that can explored on a leisurely walking tour. Plaza del Castillo, known simply as the city’s ‘living room’ is the city’s main public square which is a popular spot to shop, relax and dine in the many quaint cafes.
