The city of Nha Trang, also known as Vietnam’s Ocean City, is famous for its beautiful views and its various animal species. The city also boasts one of the best beaches in Vietnam that you must enjoy over your trip. The beach has decent white sand with a glorious turquoise blue sea. Along the beach will also be numerous women vendors selling fruit and fresh hot seafood. Those pursuing a more active holiday can rent a boat to go diving, and have the opportunity of swimming with sharks and manta rays. The Cai River is an exquisite river with some amazing scenic views. Go kayaking along the river to also see the local culture in the surrounding villages.
Nha Trang inherits its rich background in culture. The Long Song Pagoda is an excellent example of a Buddhist Temple from Vietnam and the Nha Trang Cathedral is a French Gothic Cathedral built from the French colonial rule. The French architecture is simply magnificent to see on this marvelous building.
The setting of Nha Trang is simply stunning, with mountains looming behind the city, incredible turquoise waters and a bay dotted with islands. If you can drag yourself away from the beach, a trip to the Thap Ba Hot Springs is well worth a visit. Here you can wallow in mineral enriched mud and swim in sodium silicate chloride pools, benefiting your mind, body and soul.
